StarTech.com N6PATC5MYL Cat6 Ethernet Cable 4 Core, Yellow, 5 m, Unshielded Unscreened, Patch Cable PVC

StarTech.com’s Red CAT6 15m Cable - N6PATC15MRD

StarTech's high-performance ethernet cable is packed with everything you need for running secure and speedy connections. The network cable offers 100% copper conductors, gold connectors, and is terminated ready for immediate use.

Optimal Length

• What's great about StarTech’s ethernet range is that they have a multitude of options to suit your networking needs. This cable is 15m in length, allowing you to connect applications like an RJ45 wall jack to a network hub in and around your office or further reaching applications via a raceway or conduit. StarTech.com realise the importance of colour too and have provided an excellent selection to choose from. This ethernet cable is red, which means you can configure and organise your network easily by colour coding.

Snagless Protection

• Prevent the chances of decreased performance through breakages with a snagless style. Snagless types minimise the risk of breaking the RJ45 clips during the installing process, protecting the connector to fit with your requirements.

StarTech.com have also added PVC molded boot strain relief for when the cable is bent at an acute angle, reducing the risk of decreased cable connectivity and increasing its longevity.

24 AWG and 100% Copper

• This cat6 features 24 AWG sized copper wires, which allow less resistance when carrying signals. It also produces less heat than other sizes and these two characteristics combined make it a perfect match for its 15m length. Using high-quality 100% copper conductors in this cat6 cable not only means that it's excellent value for investment, but it also specifically helps to reduce near end cross talk noise (NEXT), which boosts reliability in transferring data.

Gold Connectors

• Even better is that StarTech.com use 50-micron thick gold connectors to support the longevity of the cable. By using the thickest gold plating available, the network cable maintains a fast and reliable connection over a longer period of time, withstanding up to x4 as much throughput as a standard metal connector. The RJ45 connectors also eliminate signal loss due to the non-corrosive material.

This patch cable houses the wires in a durable red PVC jacket. For peace of mind, StarTech provide a lifetime warranty with all their cables.

Applications

• Use with Gigabit networks and connect PoE-enabled devices
• Patches one device to another, e.g. a hub to distribution panel
• Connects workstations via a wall outlet
• Deliver data, voice and video over Gigabit networks
