Souriau 8LT series plug connectors with bayonet locking, (built in accordance to MIL-DTL-38999) , are aluminium bodied, olive drab, durable connectors designed for use within military and civil aerospace, marine and offshore equipment, medical instrumentation, defense and military ground personnel and industrial connector applications. These Mil Spec plug connectors feature a bayonet coupling are 100% scoop proof and offer shell to shell continuity when mated. Souriau 8LT series military spec. plug connectors have very high resistance to harsh environmental factors such as shock (300g, 3ms) and temperature extremes and offer over 500 mating and unmating operations, complete with female contacts.

The robust 3 point bayonet lock system allows a quick coupling mechanism. The 8LT Series can be mounted with screws or with a jam nut . They also will offer numerous layout types.
