Sick Photoelectric Sensor - VTE180 Series
Sick's VTE180 series of photoelectric proximity sensors are brought to you in a cylindrical M18 housing, they feature scanning distances of 400 mm. They provide a cost-effective solution to lower installation costs.
Features & Benefits
• Bright lit red emitter LED allows for a more simplified alignment as well as saves installation time
• The sensors have background suppression
• Power and signal LEDs offer quick and simple troubleshooting
• Flat and smooth lens reduces the collection of dust and dirt
• Light spot (distance): 20 mm (400 mm)
• Switching output: PNP, light/dark-switching
• 645 nm wavelength
• Potentiometer with a 270-degree sensing range
• Features a supply voltage of 10V DC - 30V DC
• Switching mode is selectable via L/D control cable
• Comprised of a strong, rugged and robust material
• The enclosure has an IP rating of IP67, this means that the enclosure is protected against dust and is completely dust-tight. This rating also means that the enclosure has moisture protection against full immersion for up to 30 minutes at depths between 15cm and 1m
