Rs Pro Portable Wrist Strap Tester
The RS Pro portable wrist strap tester is a battery operated on-demand wrist strap tester. The tester operates by a 9 V battery plus the tester can also be wall or surface mounted using the hook and loop fastener supplied. This wrist strap tester is ideal for small labs, spot checks ensuring compliance. How the tester works is that you plug in your coiled cord attaching it to the tester. Completing the path of current flow in turn illuminates the tester to green giving you a, test good, result. A test good result meets ANSI ESD S20.20 and ANSI ESD S1.1. If the wrist strap fails, an audible alarm brings it to your attention.
