Q3X Series Laser Contrast Sensors

The Q3X Sensor is an Expert™ laser diffuse contrast sensor for low contrast detection application. Some of the models within the Q3X series are able to ignore targets beyond a factory-set background suppression distance. The combination of low contrast diffuse sensing of targets while ignoring objects beyond the region of interest eliminates the biggest problem of diffuse mode sensing, changing background conditions affecting the contrast detection.
This series of laser contrast sensors offers the user high speed performance capturing up to 2,000 events per second. The sensors are durable and rugged plus they also offer a simple user experience with clear readouts from the LED 3 digit display. The Q3X sensors are easy to use, easy to setup rugged and used for presence / absence or orientation detection plus suitable in for use in a variety of environments including those with cutting fluids and oil.
