LT1763 - LDO Regulator, Linear Technology
Linear Technology LT1763 series are micropower low dropout regulators that can supply 500mA of output current with a dropout voltage of 300mV in addition they have a 1.22V reference voltage. The low noise LDO regulator has controlled quiescent current and will not rise in dropout. Over the bandwidth of 10 Hz to 100 kHz the LDO output noise can drop further with an external bypass capacitor. The Internal protection means reverse battery protection, reverse current protection, current limiting and thermal limiting. Typical applications include Cell phones, noise sensitive environments and battery powered systems.
Low Noise: 20μVRMS (10Hz to 100kHz)
Output Current: 500mA
Low Quiescent Current: 30μA
Wide Input Voltage Range: 1.8V to 20V
Low Dropout Voltage: 300mV
Very Low Shutdown Current: < 1μA
No Protection Diodes Needed
Adjustable Output from 1.22V to 20V
Stable with 3.3μF Output Capacitor (Aluminum, Tantalum or Ceramic Capacitors)
LDO (Low Dropout) Linear Voltage Regulators, Linear Technology
Linear Technology Low Dropout Linear regulators (LDO) present very low dropout, line and load regulation and fast transient response. The positive, negative and multiple output LDO Linear regulators come in fixed or adjustable outputs. Some LDO+ devices have more features than the standard linear regulators; some can monitor the voltage, current and temperature. They also feature program current limit, active output discharge or even control an upstream supply powering the LDO.
