The 3M™ Cubitron™ II Fibre Disc 987C contains a 3M Precision Shaped Grain engineered to offer up to twice the cut-rate, surpassing other conventional discs in both performance and longevity. The Cubitron™ II Fibre Disc is designed for working with heat-sensitive materials like stainless steel. It maximises cutting effectiveness while minimising grinding pressure and operator fatigue.

The fibre disc features 3M Precision Shaped Grain which forms into triangularly shaped grains that are electrostatically positioned onto the backing. The grains then act as individual cutting tools, reducing metal discoloration with extreme efficiency. It allows the disc to last significantly longer than conventional grain abrasives while maintaining a high cut through rate.

The 3M™ Cubitron™ II 987C outperforms conventional ceramic discs by staying cooler on heat-sensitive metals. This fibre wheel is well-suited to edge chamfering, machining grooves, removing steel welds and more.
