Vishay's 106 PED-ST series of electrolytic capacitors offer a long lifetime of 20,000 hours at +85°C whilst providing extremely low ESR and ESL, allowing very high ripple current load. Constructed from a non-solid electrolyte encapsulated in an insulated cylindrical case, these aluminium electrolytic capacitors are charge and discharge proof.

With a wide range of uses, suitable applications include filtering and smoothing, energy storage in pulse systems, industrial systems, standard and switched mode power supplies, computers and telecommunications.
