Molex Lite-Trap SMT Wire to Board Connectors

Lite-Trap SMT wire to board connectors with a low profile PCB space saving design with Mini Lite-Trap versions just 2.65 mm in height. The stripped wire is inserted into the connector which pushes open a gate-style terminal using a low insertion force. The gate terminal traps the wire providing a secure electrical contact and a high wire retention force. A manual push button lever allows easy wire extraction, no extra tooling is needed making these connectors ideal for use in field assembly. The housings accept a long wire insulation range which provides a stable wire placement and extra electrical contact assurance. A wire stopper built into the housing ensures that the wire is fully inserted to the correct depth. There are 3 versions of these Lite-Trap connectors available:
Series 104238 - Mini Lite-Trap connectors. These accept a wire size of 26 AWG to 22 AWG with a 3 A current
Series 104188 - Standard Lite-Trap connectors. These accept a wire size of 24 AWG to 18 AWG (solid) and 24 AWG to 20 AWG (stranded) with 9 A current
Series 104266 - Bottom Entry Lite-Trap connectors. These accept a wire size of 24 AWG to 18 AWG (solid) and 24 AWG to 20 AWG (stranded) with 9 A current. These bottom entry versions have reduced shadowing when used in LED applications.
